Emperor
The Emperor is produced in Namiki's Hiratsuka Japan Maki-e workshop, where the finest Maki-e in the world is produced. Up to four months are required to design and paint the meticulously crafted Emperor pens. Several layers of urushi lacquer, gold, raden shell, and brilliantly colored pigments are inlaid into the Emperor and burnished with charcoal for a high sheen that complements the exquisite and intricate details. With 18k gold nib and the "ink-stop" filler mechanism and presented in a traditional wood gift box from the Orient. The Emperor Collection exceeds the demands of even the most discerning collector and connoisseur.
