Old faithfuls, sentimental value or the reliable everyday pen you cherish, can sometimes need a service, repair or replacement part. Websters pen shop has over 35 years experience. We cannot guarantee every pen repair, but will certainly try for you.
Pen repairs are accepted on the condition of the following:
There is a £10.00 handling fee for each pen, any work or parts, servicing etc, required up to £60.00 in value will be an automatic go ahead (£10.00 handling fee not inclusive), and any amount over the £60.00 will be quoted before hand. If for any reason the repair cannot not be done, or you reject a quote that comes in over the pre-advised £60.00, the £10.00 handling fee will still be chargeable.
If you have damaged your nib on your Fountain pen, as a guide on cost, it is approximately half the price of an entire pen itself. Most nib replacements would be quoted before go-ahead, unless it is under the £60.00
We generally quote up to 6 weeks for a repair to be returned. In the majority of cases it is normally 3 weeks. Please consider if sending an old pen in, that parts are becoming difficult to source, and may take longer than anticipated.
When sending your pen to us please download and print a repair form, as below. Please do ensure you complete this, especially your contact telephone number and current email address.
Websters strongly advise that you send your pen to us by registered post, and please ensure your pen is well protected. Please do not send gift boxes, as we cannot guarantee their return.
*Unfortunately we are unable to accept repairs from overseas customers, unless purchased through ourselves.*
As most pen manufacturers have a warranty period, please do ensure you send a copy of a receipt or dated warranty booklet that is also stamped by the retailer. This MAY help to adjust your repair cost.
We do advise that you obtain proof of Postage for your item, in order to track and confirm the delivery we also advise you use Royal Mail Special Delivery as your postage method. Unfortunately we do NOT currently contact customers to confirm receipt of items, although this is something we are looking into.
